Meet the Optometrists

Dr. Brenda Li

Born and raised in Toronto, Dr. Brenda Li graduated from Pennsylvania College of Optometry in Philadelphia and completed her undergraduate studies at University of Toronto, majoring in Pharmacology. She has received extensive training in diagnosing and treating eye diseases while completing her internship at The Eye Institute in Philadelphia, externships at the Veteran’s Affair Medical Center in Connecticut and at the Indian Health Services Clinic in Alaska.

Dr. Brenda Li has gained invaluable experiences in areas of:

• Primary eye care
• Ocular disease diagnosis and treatment
• Paediatric eye care
• Contact Lens fitting
• Refractive surgery co-management

 

She is certified by the Board of Examiners of Optometry in Canada and the use of Therapeutic Pharmaceutical Agents (TPAs). Also accredited in the United States by the National Board of Examiners in Optometry (NBEO) and the Treatment and Management of Ocular Diseases (TMOD).

Dr. Brenda Li is currently a member of the Ontario Association of Optometrists (OAO) and Canadian Association of Optometrists (CAO).

 

Dr. Amy Khong

Dr. Amy Khong completed her post graduate studies in Optometry at Pennsylvania College of Optometry and undergraduate studies from Temple University with High Honors. Since graduation Dr. Khong has been working in family practices and corporate optometry in Washington D.C., Virginia, Maryland and Philadelphia areas. Dr. Khong has many years of experience working with young children and especially diagnosing and treating various eye related pathologies. Dr. Khong is board certified in Canada and the use of Therapeutic Pharmaceutical Agents (TPAs). Dr. Khong is also accredited in the United States by the National Board of Examiners in Optometry (NBEO) and the Treatment and Management of Ocular Diseases (TMOD). She is currently licensed to practice in Ontario, Virginia and Pennsylvania.

 

Dr. Khong has recently moved to Toronto and excited to meet and serve the community of Davisville Mount Pleasant Village and the Greater Toronto Area.
